It’s not a surprise that Tabula Rasa is shutting down; on February 28, 2009 live service supplied by Tabula Rasa will officially end. This decision follows the deficient performance of NCsoft MNo as well as the exit of Richard Garriot, the creator. Tabula Rasa provided an official statement and an expression of gratitude to all players; the statement explained that player interests weren’t high enough, and that, regrettably, live service would end. Game subscribers will get a free parting gift for being part of the Tabula Rasa playing community.
