New Plant Resource

Botany Research has been made easier with the Filthy Lucre botany section

One of the benefits of having my own blog is that I get to push things out that I think are pretty cool.  It’s a real goal for me to make FilthyLucre a useful contributor to the Web.  I have started publishing more posts that stem from research and term papers by Students.  It’s a shame that this wonderful content, that is painstakingly researched and written, is lost once it hits the professor’s desk.  Now that content can help others.

Another thing I’m working on is scientific research data.  My first resource is the botanical database, for those botanist out there.  Check out the main page here.  You can find great info on plan life. Everything from Bristlecone Fir and Island Sand Verbena to Ullucus tuberosus Loz.

Hopefully this helps with any research people might be doing on plants.

I'm the editor of Filthy Lucre, and the CEO of USWeb. I write about things I find interesting in the financial and business space, and often gadgets. I'm an unapologetic Apple fanboy I spend most of my waking day near an iMac, iPhone or iPad. I split my time between my beach condo in Baja, and my home in Las Vegas.
