I feel that if I use my debit card I am still paying for it with cash and it seems like I am paying for the discount that the "cash" customer is getting. Gas stations that charge the same for everyone make better business because no one carries cash anymore. They get maybe a quarter per transaction. It's not like Visa isn't taking a chunk out of money you pay when you pay with plastic with their label on it.
