Would you believe that Barack Obama wants to put an end to daylight savings time? Well, no, not really, but there are people that believe he should; some academics from NYT Op-Ed, and recent studies reveal that daylight savings time is more of a hassle than any type of energy saving technique. The belief that daylight savings time reduces energy consumption has proven quite false and some experts assert that eliminating the practice is the key to energy conservation.
