2004 Allegrini Amarone

I’m not a wine expert.  As a matter of fact, I’m a  sommelier  nightmare.  But I can appreciate the fact that the right wine can really complete a meal.

The Amarone Classico 2004 comes from Veneto, Italy and works well as a dinner red.   Allegrini’s 2004 vintage can be combined with Chinese, Japanese and Middle Eastern meals that need a sweet counterweight.   The black currant overture on the tongue also goes well with aged cheeses and roasted duck.   Restaurant owners and diners should hold out on the Amarone Classico 2004 for a few year before enjoying this red.

So next time you order in some Chinese food, try adding a glass of 2004 Allegrini Amarone to the meal to really pull it together.
